Directions to International Maritime Organisation
(FOR THE DECEMBER CONFERENCE ONLY – the July Conference is held at Mulberry School).
The IMO is located at 4 Albert Embankment, London, Greater London,
SE1 7SR, United Kingdom – +44 20 7735 7611
Nearest tube stations are Vauxhall, or Westminster. Vauxhall (Victoria Line) is a 10-15 minutes walk, but the walk from Westminster (District/Circle/Jubilee Line) is more appealing.
From Westminster, walk across the Westminster bridge. At the end of Westminster bridge you will see a set of stairs, leading down to a path along the river. Descend these stairs, and walk along the river, keeping the river on your RIGHT (you will be walking West, away from the Houses of Parliament).
When you get to the next bridge, Lambeth Bridge, come up the stairs. You will be standing on Albert Embankment. Continue walking West along Albert Embankment. The IMO will be on your left about 500 feet past Lambeth Bridge
From Vauxhall walk along Albert Embankment, past Vauxhall bridge, keeping the river on your LEFT. The IMO is about 15 minutes up the road.
Parking
Parking is not available at the IMO, however, there is private parking available on Black Prince Road which is a 5 minutes walk from the IMO There is a fee for use of this lot.
