Global Classrooms: London is currently the largest secondary school Model United Nations programme in London, serving over 700 students every year through two annual conferences, one in December and one in July.
During our 2011 Summer Conference students will work in committees exploring topics related to the themes of “Women and Development.”
The Conference will take place on Thursday, July 7th and Friday July 8th at Mulberry School for Girls in Tower Hamlets.
The programme will involve 350 students from across the UK and around the world.
Winter Conference 2011 at the IMO
Our Winter conference, which will take place on December 10th and 11th will focus on “The Human Impact of Climate Change.” Once again this year, the December event will take place at the beautiful headquarters of the International Maritime Organisation, in central London, the only UN agency to be based in the UK. The IMO headquarters are located on the south bank of the Thames, just opposite the Houses of Parliament, in the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Click here to register.
For schools visiting from abroad, we can arrange accomodation, including homestays, as well as activities to help you make the most of your visit to London. Please email londonmun@gmail.com with any queries you may have.
